This class looks at operations strategy in a broad context - how companies design, source, create, and distribute their products or services. The course integrates perspectives, theories, and tools from Strategic Management, International Management, and Supply Chain Management to provide an integrated view of decisions managers must make about where, how, and with whom should they create and sell products/services. We take a competitive advantage-based approach...how can we use a global operations strategy approach to outperform rivals consistently over time?
