In this episode, Harold King speaks with Stephen Effron about EFCO Products, his family’s 100-plus-year-old business based in Poughkeepsie. Every day, millions of people around the world enjoy sweet and savory products that include one or more of EFCO’s fine ingredients. They offer an ever-growing portfolio of off-the-shelf products and custom formulated products that include bakery fillings, bakery mixes and concentrates, beverage bases and syrups, sauces and spreads, fruit and specialty toppings and other specialty ingredients.

Harold talks with Stephen about the history of the company: what its like to be the fourth generation to lead the family business, his path to joining the business and his preparations to lead it.
